PETTY THIEF - Tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers

"Petty Thief" was formed the Fall of 2007 when Guitarist/Vocalist Andy Volmer gathered up some local musician friends to put together a band to play a set of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers hits at a Halloween party at a venue in Seattle. What started out as a one night stand has turned into a love affair that lasted for going on for over 15 years now and travels all over the great Pacific Northwest!!

"Petty Thief" does a musically accurate 60-120 min set (depending on the venue and show) of Tom Petty's Greatest Hits. No silly wigs, no costumes, no funny beards, just the GREAT music of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers! If you love the music of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and lets be honest, who doesn't, get out there and see Petty Thief live and in action. You'll be glad you did!

“Music is probably the only real magic I have encountered in my life. There's not some trick involved with it. It's pure and it's real. It moves, it heals, it communicates and does all these incredible things” - Tom Petty

UPDATE!! JAN.18TH, 2022:

Hey Gang.....we have a couple changes to the Petty Thief lineup to let you know about.

We are bringing in Mark Mosholder (No Rules, Random Manor, King Loiter) to play Bass Guitar and provide background vocals. And our old friend John Paredes (Bell Bottom Blues, American Fool, Rear View Mirror) will be returning to join us on Keyboards and background vocals. Both are excellent musicians and bring a wealth of experience to the band, as well as some much needed vocal harmonies.

We'd like to thank both Joe Turnbull and Matt Blair for their time with Petty Thief. Joe was with us for close to 4 years and Matt was about a 6 year veteran. Wonderful guys to share the stage with and a blast to hang out with off the stage. We love you guys, we'll miss ya and wish you nothing but HUGE success in both your current and future musical endeavors. I'm sure we'll all cross paths again, sooner or later!

Thanks guys!
